Questions About Ceramics
Are your ceramics microwave and dishwasher safe?
Yes! All s.e. ceramics are microwave and dishwasher safe. Handling with care is recommended for longevity.
Are your ceramics stain resistant?
Yes! We often get asked this specifically about the matte white pieces. We have tested stain resistance with all of our ceramics through intentional experimentation in addition to our daily use of our ceramics in our own kitchens. Many neglected mugs of turmeric tea and tomato splattered spoon rests have remained stain-free!
My favorite item is out of stock. When will it return?
We generally restock our web shop on Monday mornings, every 3-6 weeks. If you would like to be the first to know when we restock the web shop please join our mailing list for occasional updates.
Custom Orders
Do you make custom orders?
It's always fun to take on custom orders! We’d love to work with you on a project. You can find more information about working with us on a custom order by visiting our commissions page.
Do you make ceramics for restaurants or cafes?
Yes! We love working with restaurants and chefs to design wares that compliment your food and your space. Please reach out at becca@seceramics.com for more information.
Shipping and Returns
Where do you ship?
We currently ship anywhere within the United States. We pack and ship online orders once a week. This schedule allows our small team to have focused time in the studio on other work days. If your order is being shipped, please allow 3-5 business days for us to process it.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes, we do offer local pickup. We work from a home studio so we like to schedule our pickups at local coffee shops in East Nashville. To work with our throwing schedule, we usually schedule pickups Friday evenings or weekends.
Do you offer returns and exchanges?
We want you to be happy with the ceramics that you receive. If your purchase wasn’t what you expected, you can request to return it within 30 days of receiving it. We do ask that your item be in the same condition that you received it, unused.
To request a return, you can contact us at becca@seceramics.com. If your return is accepted, you can ship your item to the address provided and we will refund the value of your ceramics once we have received them. Ceramics must arrive unbroken.
Please allow one week for your return to be processed once we receive your shipment.
My order arrived damaged or incorrect. What can I do?
If you received the wrong item or quantity, please let us know as soon as possible so we can solve the issue. If any items appear damaged or defective, we appreciate you letting us know, as we care deeply about quality.
Contact us at becca@seceramics.com, and we'll make things right with a refund or replacement.
Please keep in mind that these items are all made by hand, one at a time. Each piece has some degree of imperfection and uniqueness that you won’t find in mass produced ceramics. We try our best to portray our ceramics accurately and honestly in our images and descriptions.
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
