Questions About Ceramics
Are your ceramics microwave and dishwasher safe?
Ceramic pieces, if well taken care of, can outlive us. If you can, handwash your pieces. They can survive prolonged dishwasher use, however more care is generally taken when handwashing, and is a less harsh environment for the glaze. These pieces are microwave safe.
Are your ceramics stain resistant?
Yes! I often get asked this specifically about the matte white pieces. All my ceramics have been tested for stain resistance through intentional experimentation and daily use. Many neglected mugs of turmeric tea and tomato splattered spoon rests have remained stain-free!
How often do you restock online?
I make a collection of work available on the website every few months. Follow me on instagram and join my email list to stay up to date on restock dates. If you are interested in a particular piece from the web shop, please reach out using the contact form. I'll try to include it in my next kiln load.
Shipping and Returns
Where do you ship?
I currently ship anywhere within the United States.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes, I do offer local pickup. I work from a home studio so I like to schedule pickups at local coffee shops in East Nashville on Friday afternoons. There is not a local pickup option at checkout, so after you make your purchase, please email me that you would like to pick up your order. I'll reimburse your shipping cost and schedule a local pickup with you.
When will your ship my order?
I pack and ship online orders once a week. Please allow 3-5 business days for me to process your order.
Do you offer returns and exchanges?
I want you to be happy with the ceramics that you receive. If your purchase wasn’t what you expected, you can request to return it within 30 days of receiving it. I do ask that your item be in the same condition that you received it, unused.
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products, Personalized Pet Bowls, and special orders.
To request a return, you can contact me at becca@seceramics.com. If your return is accepted, you can ship your item to the address provided and I'll refund the value of your ceramics once I've have received them. Ceramics must arrive unbroken.
Please allow one week for your return to be processed once I receive your shipment.
My order arrived damaged or incorrect. What can I do?
If you received the wrong item or quantity, please let me know as soon as possible so I can solve the issue. If any items appear damaged or defective, I appreciate you letting me know, as I care deeply about quality.

Please keep in mind that these items are all made by hand, one at a time. Each piece has some degree of imperfection and uniqueness that you won’t find in mass produced ceramics. I try our best to portray my ceramics accurately and honestly in me images and descriptions.
